This is me

Hello! I'm Kathryn Lockhart, a multifaceted artist, actor, musician, and aspiring designer. I was born in Okinawa, Japan, where I spent my early childhood immersed in the vibrant colors, traditions, and cultural nuances of my surroundings. When I was 6 years old, my family relocated to Georgia where I continued to explore my artistic inclinations. Growing up as a multiracial individual, with a Filipino mother and an African American father, I developed a deep appreciation for diversity and the power of blending different influences.​

After studying business management at Georgia State University, I quickly realized that my true calling lay within the art world. As a dedicated mother of my three children, I have nurtured their growth while pursuing my own artistic endeavors. However,  as my children are getting older and the acting business is uncertain, I wanted to focus on another aspect of art that I love- DESIGN.

I enrolled in the Architectural Interior Design Program at UCLA Extension, and fell in love with the world of Design and I graduated with my degree in the Spring of 2024. My diverse background, combined with my unwavering commitment to my craft, make me a dynamic and promising designer. Drawing from my childhood experiences, multicultural heritage, and my background in acting and music, I aim to create captivating and culturally resonant designs that leave a lasting impact.
